The preparations awry

Here is a list of things we don't yet have:

1. Insurance (though it seems this may be rectified soon)
2. A ferry
3. A hotel in Rome
4. Any way of playing music in the car apart from making Cairns sing bush lullabyes

We have also not finished painting the car, or affixed the fin or the surfboard, and only one of us has driven the car before.

Five days. What could possibly go wrong?
